The flat, local color – ordinary black – the only tone, simplified, from light to dark. Nothing more. Just like sadness – you gain nothing when it comes, you are empty of emotions, you lose when it wins. That is why she works on it. That is why she rebuilds. There is something tremendous to win, something as great as an infinity symbol. That is why she makes a warm coat from her sadness and takes care of an invisible baby.
