The Story – The Whole Truth
There was her. And someone came to her and said: “You are death.”
And she believed him, because she felt it was true.
And everything worked almost the way it was supposed to.
One day, the little almost grew wings and became a big almost,
and then it multiplied and surrounded her like a flock.
“You are death,” they said.
And then, instead of looking at herself, she looked at him — and saw him.
Then she looked at herself, all fluttered and stirred,
and she understood that he was telling the truth — but not the whole truth.
Because she is both death and life.
She understood that he was afraid of her.
And she understood that he should be.
Historia – Cała prawda.
Była sobie ona, i przyszedł do niej ktoś i powiedział: przecież ty jesteś śmiercią.
I ona mu uwierzyła, bo czuła że to prawda. I wszystko działało się prawie tak jak powinno.
Pewnego dnia malutkie prawie dostało skrzydeł i urosło i stało się olbrzymim prawie,
a potem się jeszcze powieliło i stadem ją otoczyło.
„Przecież ty jesteś śmiercią”
i ona wtedy popatrzyła zamiast na siebie, to na niego i zobaczyła go.
Potem popatrzyła na siebie taką roztrzepotaną i zrozumiała,
że on mówi prawdę, ale nie całą, bo ona jest i śmiercią i życiem.
Zrozumiała że on się jej boi, i zrozumiała że powinien.
