„Animal”
There was once a traveler who had an animal. He walked through the desert for so long that he had nothing left to eat or drink. The traveler then killed the animal and ate it, and the animal agreed to it. But at night, the spirit of the animal awoke, and it was angry, and it killed the sleeping traveler. In the morning, the traveler woken up and walked away, but he remained dead forever. In the place where the animal died, a flower grew and blooms once a year.
„Zwierzę”
Był sobie podróżnik i miał zwierze. Szedł przez pustynie tak długo, aż nie miał już nic do jedzenia i nic do picia. Podróżnik wtedy zabił zwierze i je zjadł, a ono się na to zgodziło. Ale w nocy duch zwierzęcia się przebudził, i był zły, i zabił śpiącego podróżnika. Rano podróżnik wstał i odszedł, ale na zawsze pozostał martwy. W miejscu gdzie umarło zwierze, wyrósł kwiat i kwitnie raz do roku.
